Mr. Mishkind has 34 years of professional experience representing victims of serious personal injuries caused by medical negligence and other serious acts of negligence, including wrongful death claims and catastrophic automobile and trucking collisions. As a legal professional, he specializes in helping individuals and families deal with the difficulties they face when injured due to safety violations that occur in the medical field and in day-to-day activities. He became involved in his profession because his father went to law school, which got him interested in law at an early age. During his first year of law school, he interned with a personal injury firm, and that solidified his career. Mr. Mishkind received a JD from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1980. He has remained active with his law school as an adjunct professor of law, Past-President of the Cleveland-Marshall Law Alumni Association and currently as an Honorary Trustee. He was recognized as an Alumnus of the Year in 2003. He is active on numerous volunteer committees with the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, including the certified grievance committee for the past 15 years. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains affiliation with the U.S. Court of Federal Claims where he represents individuals of vaccine-related injuries and death. He is licensed to practice before all courts in Ohio and in United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, as well as the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys, the Ohio Academy of Justice, the American Association for Justice, and the Million Dollar and Multimillion Dollar Advocates Forum. He has been recognized each year since 2006 as an Ohio Super Lawyer and as a Top 10 Attorney in Ohio by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys.
