Description of Case: Plaintiff fractured his ankle and underwent a closed reduction of his fracture. Shortly after reduction, he developed extreme pain in his foot and ankle and was eventually diagnosed with compartment syndrome. Due to the delay in responding to his complaints and inadequately testing his ankle for compartment pressures, Plaintiff required an extensive fasciotomy and a tendon transfer procedure to treat foot drop.
