Leslie Klausner is an employee of Mishkind Kulwicki Law Co., L.P.A. where she works as a nurse legal assistant/paralegal. She has a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Kent State University and has clinical experience as a staff nurse delivering care to patients receiving Medical-Surgical, Cardiac and Oncologies care at Massachusetts General Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. She also was a staff nurse in the Emergency Department of Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio where she delivered acute care to both adult and pediatric patients.

Prior to joining the medical-legal team of Mishkind Kulwicki Law Co., L.P.A., Ms. Klausner operated her own medical-legal consulting firm since 1981 where she provided a wide range of support services for attorneys who handled personal injury and medical malpractice claims. She has extensive experience in evaluating medical care provided to patients and assisting the attorney in determining whether the outcome was preventable, avoidable and unnecessary. Ms. Klausner has 29 years of experience in analyzing medical records and medical claims to determine whether there is merit to the claim. Her experience spans the entire spectrum of medical claims and she has literally reviewed claims and assisted attorneys in representing injured parties involving every medical specialty from birth injury cases to nursing home claims. She has a network of physicians and nursing experts that she has worked with over the years that makes her uniquely qualified to professionally and efficiently determine whether a case has sufficient merit to pursue.

Leslie’s vast experience and knowledge, attention to detail, ability to perform in-depth research of medical-legal issues, as well as her strong interpersonal skills in working closely with clients and their families has been a valued asset to our firm.
